Why we do what we do
Our Story (so far)
Veteran Elite Drone Training Services (VEdTS) is a mission-driven community that bridges the gap between military service and the future of technology.
When Gail and I started this venture back in March 2023, our goal was simple yet deeply personal: to help veterans transition into a field that not only has a great future but is also kind to the body. Since then, we've been fortunate enough to bring part time work to over 30 veterans as instructors and train nearly 80 veteran students.
The numbers are encouraging, and what really keeps us going are the personal transformations we've seen. Many of our trainees have shared with us that they've found a renewed sense of purpose and excitement through our program. It's humbling to realize the impact we're having on individuals, helping them rekindle their passion and get back outdoors in a meaningful way.
We've seen firsthand the tremendous talent and untapped potential within the veteran community, and we feel privileged to play a part in unlocking it. As we take the lessons learned from our previous years of business and gear up for the 2025 season, VEdTS remains steadfast in its mission to be the cornerstone for veteran involvement in Canada's drone ecosystem.
